Easter 2013

Easter was the last weekend I had before I went back to work. Billy was flying out to go to his board review in San Diego, so we drove separately to his parents house to spend the weekend there. I took the kids and dogs with me on Good Friday and Billy came after work, and then we stayed through Monday to hang out and enjoy the lake

Kyle had practiced hunting Easter eggs at school, so she was a pro Easter weekend

Grammy's birthday & Ellen's birthday

Grammy's birthday fell on a weekend day that Billy had off and I was still on maternity leave so we packed up and drove down to visit.

Hunter sprawled out on Grammy

We took Kyle to see the horses at Keyea's barn. one wanted to get up close to her and she wasn't too sure of it.

Hunter is two months!!

Two months has gone by really quickly, probably because my maternity leave is coming to an end and I go back to work April 5. Hunter is starting at Dealey in Room 2, the same as Kyle did, and he has two of the same teachers as Kyle did, Miss Angela and Miss Syleta. Right now, Hunter is
~11lbs. 8 oz
~loves tummy time
~has really good head and neck strength
~loves to be held, especially at night before bed time
~coos
~sleeps well (amazing how 5-6hr stretches feel like, Kyle never let us do that at the beginning)

Kyle is getting used to having Hunter around and she's starting to interact with him more. I can't wait for the days that they will play together.

Hunter is one month!

In keeping up with the tradition, Hunter got a blue teddy bear from Betty, and so he gets to do the monthly photo shoot like Kyle did. Hunter is doing great, already sleeps pretty well - which we are not used to since sister Kyle wasn't a fan of sleeping. His hair is falling out but he manages to get cuter and more handsome every day.

Hunter, friends & family

Mom came to visit two weeks after Hunter was born. Billy had already planned on "moonlighting" before Hunter's arrival so he had to work, which worked out nicely so Mom could help me with both.

First photo with both babies.

Billy had to work a bunch this week, so I drove Kyle and Hunter to the lake to hang out.

Kyle & Hunter

We took Kyle and Hunter to the arboretum to see the Dallas blooms of tulips. Billy took this picture of Kyle - it is by far one of my favorites if not my new favorite picture of her.

Kyle doing "tummy time" with baby brother.

Hunter actually likes tummy time. He's really good at it.

This picture makes me smile. Kyle was helping me get Hunter dressed, and Tess of course was in the room, so I managed to get Kyle and Hunter posed with their "sissy".

Can't believe how fast Hunter is growing, he'll be bigger than Kyle in no time!

Kyle's new thing lately is saying "one more", so we got an action photo of her saying it.
