GG and GP come visit

GG and GP came to visit us in Nashville. They arrived late Monday 8/12 and got to stay until Saturday 8/17! We had a good time. I took them to the Nashville public library downtown for story time and then sevier park for the farmers market and Popsicle tradition on Tuesdays.

This one made me smile, had to take a pic for Billy.
I was impressed with the country Music Hall of Fame, lots to see and it had a lot of history on all genres of how country music came to be as popular as it is now.

Hunter is 6 months

It is hard to believe that Hunter is already 6 months! He's such a sweet little guy- always smiling, laughing and cooing.

Our monthly photo with the bears. Hunter 6 months and Kyle 2 years!

I was able to get a solo picture of him with his bear.

Hunter and the bumbo don't mix well so he's in the high chair already. This was actually a good thing because it got Kyle into the booster seat which is so nice to have her eat with us at the table like a big girl!

We finally found him a baseball cap that fits. His hair is still so thin and fair I don't want baldy to burn.

Happy 6 months my sweet little blessing! Here are his milestones:
~got his two teeth in- I forgot how bad teething is, but after a few days with Tylenol he's gotten used to them.
~can sit up with support, only a few seconds independently
~bedtime usually between 6&6:30!
~takes two naps and is our sleeper at night (still pray this continues😊)
~eating solids, likes sweet potatoes and bananas best. (Like his daddy and sister doesn't like the greens)

Jack Daniels Distillery Tour - 7/28/13

We took a day trip on Saturday to drive to Lynchburg, TN to visit the Jack Daniels Distillery. It was about an hour and fifteen minute drive to get there and the tour was about the same length and kid friendly. I had made reservations at a highly recommended restaurant at 11 for after our tour, Miss Mary BoBo's.

wood that gets burned, then as charcoal that goes into the whiskey
