Kyle at 5 months

Baby Kyle is growing so fast! Feel like time keeps passing us by and I can't keep up, which is evidence of me being behind on blogging. I'm am cherishing her sweet smile and billy and I are enjoying every minute of her!!! She truly is a blessing and proof of God's miraculous plan.

Kyle's first thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was nice - we drove up to Kimberly's house for late lunch, Grace and Jeff were there and of course Billy's parents. Kyle was a good girl, she reslly enjoyed her first thanksgiving holiday. Billy and I however both got really sick - he had a stomach virus and I ended up with strep throat. Kyle was the healthiest in our family and thankfully she didnt get sick.

This past week Kyle turned 4 months. Our four month check up was great, she grew 2 inches (24") and gained 2.5 lbs. (11'9")
She did not like the shots, this time she was really sore and her stuffy nose didn't help. All in all I was glad I took these pics before we went to the doctor

Kyle is getting social

Kyle has gotten easier to cart around, which has been nice to be able to take her out on lunch dates. Her eating schedule has gotten more predictable so I can plan stuff around her and get out and do more. and she's such a great baby. Loving being a mommy

Kyle + bumbo

Times are exciting, Kyle now doesn't have to only sit in her floor bouncer, she can sit up in her bumbo. Her head and neck are getting stronger, it's been so fun watching her develop.

State fair

Our schedules were so busy this year but we managed to squeeze in the fair on a Wednesday afternoon after Billy got off work for about an hour and a half. Kyle slept through her first trip to the fair but we still enjoyed our fletcher's corn dog, fried butter and fried moon pie. Next year will be a lot more exciting for Kyle....

Hanging out with daddy before his 2 weeks of nights

This month has been busy so far with juggling our schedules. Billy started back on nights, I started back to work and Kyle started at Dealy daycare. Then this past Sunday sweet papa passed away and we had to change our schedules to travel down to port neches for the funeral. This week Billy is back on nights for the next two weeks with only 2 days off so we've been hanging out and spending time with our little family.

Kyle talks to herself

Lately Kyle wakes up and starts talking to herself. It is so cute hearing her sweet voice from her crib. When you go in to get her she gets really excited and smiles so big. It's been so wonderful seeing all her changes and watching her grow her cute little personality

Billy was working nights this week so I went to Kelle's wedding dateless which was fine because most everyone didn't have dates. Kyle got to stay at Dr. Doebele's house and hang out with her girls.

Hayley's birthday 9-22

This past week we all went out to dinner to celebrate Hayley's 30th birthday at Javier's. We had a good time, the food of course never disappoints. Kyle stayed
with our sweet friends Sara & Russell. Her little buddy Leighton took really good care of her :)

Kyle is 2 months old

Can't believe how time has passed so quickly, our little girl is now two months old on September 16! Which is also her G.G.'s birthday. I propped Kyle up in the rocker with her teddy bear from mom's friend Betty. turned out really cute

PAULA DEEN 9-18-11

So in January Charlotte found out that Paula Deen was going to be in Houston, so Kimberly, Grace, Johnette, Charlotte and I all got tickets. I had figured that Kyle could stay with Billy in Dallas or she would come to Houston to the show. Obviously when the time came this past weekend, Kyle was for sure going to make it to her first cooking show. we had a really good time, Kyle was perfect, I was a little overwhelmed after the luncheon since there were so many people walking around to all the vendors, but all in all it was so fun and Paula was so funny and entertaining. Kyle and I drove down and stopped by Grammy's house to play with her and then Keyea and I ran out to see Papa while Grammy watched Kyle. Then Kyle and I went on to Houston to spend the night in a hotel with the rest of the family.
