Aunt KK's wedding 3/9-3/11

Kimberly's wedding weekend came upon us quickly and worked out beautifully. Kyle was perfect, she did a great job as a flower girl and I didn't trip carrying her down the aisle. Billy was able to get off for the wedding festivities and we made it in time for rehearsal dinner at the lake on Friday night. The wedding was absolutely beautiful. Johnette did an amazing job helping decorate and get the Cherokee club transformed into a vintage themed wedding.

Sitting up playing

Once Kyle learned she could sit up, she has loved playing with her toys. I set out her play mat and sit her on it and then she likes to reach in her toy bin and pull everything out of it.

7 months

Kyle is getting to be a big girl. The monthly photo sessions are getting more challenging because Kyle wants to hold the sign and talk to her bear.

High chair time

I was never blessed with patience until we had Kyle, especially with directions. Billy will be the parent that puts everything together for the kids. However, our highchair was my accomplishment. I was so excited I got the thing put together so quickly, and Kyle watched me the entire time in amazement. So far I have really liked the highchair - Graco 4-in-1 system, and Kyle is enjoying it too, which is good since she will be sitting in it until she's 3 pretty much.

Visit with Ella

Kyle and I made a trip to Houston. We stopped along the way to see Grammy and stay with her. Then we woke up early and went to see Abby and Ella.

6 months

Six months was a milestone for us. I had set a personal goal for BFing Kyle and it really has worked with work and daycare, so I felt a sense of accomplishment this month. Now we are doing trial and error (more error) in transitioning Kyle to formula. She is a pistol, but all in all keeps Billy and I laughing about her personality already at the ripe age of 6 months.

Recently she set a new record of how many times she could get me out of bed before work, I literally thought I wasn't going to make my whole shift but somehow I pulled through. And just when we thought we'd have to be tough on her she decides to get back on track. She's growing to be the size of her teddy and we are still so blessed each and everyday with our Kyle Madison

In the video above Billy got her laughing with Nonni. She's a happy baby, the video makes me smile.

Bob

Kyle got an upgrade this Christmas and got the bob. She really loves it and I love it because I can steer it with one hand and walk the girls.
