Enjoying my kiddos

We are definitely excited for the fall. Nashville has been pretty pleasant so I've tried to stay outside. The Mosquitos are still horrible but I keep Kyle lathered up.

This is at the little park in our neighborhood. It's small but I can even take the girls with us.

Hunter's first time in the swings....he was a tad wobbly.

He is hanging out on Kyle's floor waiting for her to get dressed- a huge process ;)

This was actually a fun trip to the grocery store. It was the first time putting Hunter in the grocery basket and Kyle in the big part.

They had a blast! Kyle was very helpful with getting the groceries in the basket and helping put them on the belt at check out.

Hunter at 7 months

I'm loving ever minute of Hunter. He's such a sweet little boy! Nonni brought Billy's baby picture with her and we showed Kyle the picture and she said "that's Hunter".

They look so similar it's funny. They were both bald and blonde peach fuzz.

This is one of my favorites. I put this picture on he shelf in Hunter's room.

I had to take this of course on one of Kyle's school days.

He still has his two bottom teeth but the upper gums are so swollen - I pretty much get interrupted every time we go to the Y because he is fussy. Come on teeth!
7 month milestones:
~ Sits up really well and plays well with his toys
~loves to eat! The only time I was away he ate - didn't take a bottle at all, thank The Lord for that
~still takes two good naps
~trying to crawl
~ still working on sippy cup skills

End of August.

I started feeling guilty for not getting Hunter's pictures taken, so I took some with my camera with some props.

Hunter and his deer.

His knit hat finally fits!

Posing with his first buck.

Nonni came in town to keep the kids so I could go to Grace's bachelorette party. Aunt Ella and Aunt Bobbi got to come along too. The kids had a blast.

Billy took these pics of the kids and sent them to me while I was I'm Austin.

Harpeth Hills Hike

This park is on the west side of Nashville. We weren't really sure what to expect going with Kyle and Hunter, but we actually really enjoyed it. The trails were easy and short for kids. Next time in the cooler months, Codi and Tess can come- they would love it too.

This is at the end of the first small hike. A little quarry tucked away.

Kyle and dad posing after throwing rocks.

This is the view at the top of the next hike. It was a little steep and challenging having to carry the kids but worth the view at the top.

Hunter and I at the top.

Another shot of the beautiful view of Nashville!

Just because

One of my favorite times in the mornings is drinking my coffee and watching Mickey Mouse with Kyle (finally will watch most of one show). Hunter will hang out with us too, he loves to be included no matter what we're doing 😊

This last week Hunter has found his tongue and sticks it out all the time making his cute funny faces.

After MDO we go outside and have snack time by the playground.

Hunter loved the rocks! He's sitting up really well now without support!

I made cookie balls for Billy's bday week. So Kyle is having one and waving for daddy.

This picture pretty much captures Kyle's many outfit changes, both legs coming out of one hole. She and Codi are watching the garbage men outside the window.

My car is getting small but we still manage to run errands all together. Tess sits in between the car seats and Codi sits on the floor board.

GG and GP come visit

GG and GP came to visit us in Nashville. They arrived late Monday 8/12 and got to stay until Saturday 8/17! We had a good time. I took them to the Nashville public library downtown for story time and then sevier park for the farmers market and Popsicle tradition on Tuesdays.

Hunter and I posing outside the Reba exhibit at country music hall of fame.

GG and Kyle on the tour

Kyle posing in front of a motorcycle- one of her favorite things to point out right now

GG and Kyle at Carrie underwood exhibit

This one made me smile, had to take a pic for Billy.
I was impressed with the country Music Hall of Fame, lots to see and it had a lot of history on all genres of how country music came to be as popular as it is now.
