Last night in Dallas as residents

The movers came on Tuesday, 6/18, so after they finished, Billy dropped Kyle, Hunter and me off at Tommy and Hayley's house. Grace drove up from Houston to spend the night too so she could help me fly to Nashville with the kids. Billy and his mom drove to Longview spent the night then drove to Nashville on Wednesday.


We put Hunter in Ellen's baby stroller and she pushed her cousin around the upstairs.

Last day of Work 6/17/13

The last day of work snuck up on me fast. It really didn't seem real until I had to turn in my badge at the end of my shift, clean out my locker, and then pick up Kyle and Hunter with all the rest of their stuff from Dealey.



Sweet Carol and "her twin boys" brought me these cupcakes.


Mandy gave me thumbs down after I switched the letters for Tennessee.



My sweet coworkers gave me a "presby" bracelet. Had the state of Texas and blue charm on it. LOVE IT!


Dr. Doebele and Dr. Kumar came by and had lunch with me.


Ben stopped by. He and I were in micu internship together 5 years ago!


Gonna miss Tigist! She always is smiling and can crack you up at any moment!


Chaplain Laura......so many memories- helped me full out oh so many records of death and help me get the bodies on the gurney and transported to the morgue! I love and miss you.


Jenna - my BFF! Helped keep my sanity through laughs and tears during our 5 years together

Presby was my second home away from home in Dallas. I have more pictures in my book Twila made for me. I couldn't take enough pictures on my phone on the last day. Love you guys!!!

Cousin visit 6/8/13

Keyea, Kailey, Joseph and Grammy came to visit us for the last time in Dallas before we moved to Nashville. Billy was in Louisville, KY getting ready to take his oral boards for radiology. Tommy and Hayley were getting back from Grand Caymen Islands.

Such a fun weekend this was! It was so sweet for Grammy and the Peters to drive up and visit. It really meant a lot to see them.

4 months and 23 months

I've had this post pending and then the blog press app updated it and it got deleted. So these pictures were from the beginning of June, our last month in Dallas.

The month of May ;)

These pictures are too cute not to post on the blog. I took these randomly of Kyle and Hunter and they've been over the past month.


Dr. Doebele gave Hunter this onesie so we coordinated a day to dress our boys in matching attire for daycare.

This picture makes me laugh. Kyle wanted to take a picture with Hunter after we walked, his hat of course was falling off his bald head and Kyle was about to get frustrated with Him because his feet are touching her.


Kyle has been helping me a lot in the kitchen lately. We were making daddy Oreo cookie balls.

Mother's Day weekend I had to work so Nonni came in town and took them to the mall. Everybody got some new shoes! And Kyle got to test mrs. Fields cookies.


Hunter and his new pair of Sperry's - the cutest things I've ever seen.

We got some days of rain so we entertained ourselves in the garage.

Billy's cousin Blake got married may 18, so we drove into Henderson to see it. We ended up taking the kids so family could see them, which ended up being oh so tiring.


Aunt Grace with Hunter. It was good to be back at the church Billy and I got married at and to see Jim Turley. We also were able to visit Mama and spend some time with her.


I couldn't resist. I just had to get a doubler stroller and I love my single Bob so I found a double one off Craig's list. Hunter is already getting so heavy so I had to get it!


Dealey had jersey day on a Friday so I dressed Hunter in his appropriate colors.

This was taken just this week. I had just finished feeding him and dressing him before daycare. He gets so chatty after he eats, it's so funny. And his new thing is if he sees you looking at him he gets so excited and laughs!

Hunter at 3 months

Hunter is getting so big. He's smiling all the time now! He loves when you talk to him - he will coo back to you.






Sister Kyle wanted to join in on the picture of course with her teddy bear too.



Hunter's milestones:
~Has good neck strength and can hold his head up when you hold him
~loves to go to bed at night and will sleep! (At least for now ;)
~can roll from tummy to back
~laughs and smiles when you talk to him
~chatty! (Home and at daycare)

Hunter's Baptism - 4/28/13

Hunter's baptism came earlier than Kyle's partially because we wanted to have him baptized at our little church, Lakewood United Methodist Church, before we moved to Nashville. He did really well, just hung out during the service until it was his turn for his baptism. We are really going to miss this church - we have loved Gayle and the church members are so friendly and supportive.
