Kyle is 2 months old

Can't believe how time has passed so quickly, our little girl is now two months old on September 16! Which is also her G.G.'s birthday. I propped Kyle up in the rocker with her teddy bear from mom's friend Betty. turned out really cute

PAULA DEEN 9-18-11

So in January Charlotte found out that Paula Deen was going to be in Houston, so Kimberly, Grace, Johnette, Charlotte and I all got tickets. I had figured that Kyle could stay with Billy in Dallas or she would come to Houston to the show. Obviously when the time came this past weekend, Kyle was for sure going to make it to her first cooking show. we had a really good time, Kyle was perfect, I was a little overwhelmed after the luncheon since there were so many people walking around to all the vendors, but all in all it was so fun and Paula was so funny and entertaining. Kyle and I drove down and stopped by Grammy's house to play with her and then Keyea and I ran out to see Papa while Grammy watched Kyle. Then Kyle and I went on to Houston to spend the night in a hotel with the rest of the family.

Dinner at the Louis's 9/16/11

This was the first dinner gathering we ventured out to eat with Kyle in tow at a friend's house. and it was a success! We had a great time - with Kyle, there were 7 kids total. The Hogan's brought their 4 girls, and they joined the Louis Family party of two. Billy and I really had a great time and can't wait to do it again where Kyle will be able to play!

Billy's 30th Birthday

Kyle and I wanted to do something for Billy's 30th birthday. He was working nights during the month so we couldn't do a whole lot, but we got him a diaper dude and a cake from "nothing bundt cakes"
Also, we got him a pair of costa sun glasses, so all in all he had a pretty good birthday.

First Trip out of Town to Longview August 7 - 9

We decided to make our first trip to see Billy's grandmother. Billy was working nights, so we figured it would be good to get out of town and 2 hours by car was manageable and then Kyle could meet his side of the family. Of course, Kyle had a huge welcoming party in her honor, Venita Morris made her a cake (she did our wedding cake - she makes the most delicious cakes) and Aunt Bobbi had cups made for Kyle. We had a great time, however we were exhausted because it was the first time Kyle slept in her pack 'n play and it was also the beginning of her colicky episodes at night!
