Today was a really productive day. Billy took the day off, so he and Clayton went fishing then they came back to the house to move the dresser and crib to the nursery. so this afternoon we were able to assemble the crib and dresser. Things are starting to move along, and I am feeling like I am soon going to get organized. (will have to post new pics from today and progress of nursery)

First baby shower

We had a really good turn out at Kyle's baby shower. Kyle is already so lucky to have such great friends and family that already love her. I had such a great time, we are so blessed already with more than we need. I cannot believe I am already 29 weeks.....Time is flying by.

Nursery Update

Kyle's nursery is coming along. The first 2 pictures show the newly painted gray walls with the one and only light in the room. We got Charlotte's guy David to our house to install 4 recess lights that dim, and then added the ceiling fan with extra center light, so it already looks so much better. 

Now we are waiting to get the carpet changed out, which will hopefully get done next week.  

3rd anniversary date - dinner at 560

Billy got us dinner reservations at 560 in reunion tower. I had the sea bass (which I couldn't remember that you should avoid if you are pregnant), but oh well, it was good anyway -  they brought you the entire fish and filleted it off the bone and cut the head off right in front of you. Billy had the flounder (which I should have gotten, because that is safe to eat when you are pregnant - but how the heck are you supposed to remember all these things?) 

Happy 3 year anniversary

Today marks our 3rd wedding anniversary. We are both really looking forward to a new year ahead, our lives are literally about to change.  We have been together for almost 8 years, he is my best friend, and we have 2 beautiful, spoiled rotten dogs we have raised since they were puppies. The first picture is of our honeymoon in Maui, followed by last year trip to Kauai for our 2nd anniversary. TO be continued....I will have to post a picture of this year's anniversary dinner. 

3rd trimester

So i figured it was time to get a blog going for the Taylor family. Yesterday marked the start of 3rd trimester, which is crazy to believe that Kyle will be here in about 12 weeks. I am excited to meet her, and so are her big sisters, Codi and Tess. 


Things are coming along, the room is getting ready, I have ordered the bedding, the crib should be ordered in the next week or so, and the lighting and carpet will hopefully be done once we can get a coordinated effort going with the guys who are doing it for us.
