too cute not to post

These were some cute pics I came across on our computer. I know she's at least 13 months here. She loves walking around with Codi & Tess - she loves following them and trying to boss them around.

Jackson Hole trip

My cousin Kailey was spending a semester in Jackson hole, WY as an elective for her architecture major. We decided to take a girls trip to see her and celebrate Mom's 60th birthday.


Kyle's first time to the playground. She loved it!

The swing was a huge hit! She didn't want to come out.


We drove up to Bear World in Idaho. They had a petting zoo in part of it and Kyle absolutely loved it. She really loves animals and this park had animals that actually were interactive so We got to feed them and pet them.

Jackson Hole town square. Cute shops and very dog friendly. I really wish the girls got to come. They would have had a ball. It was a beautiful place, awesome weather. Can't wait to go back.

Getting ready for Halloween

This year Kyle was ready for all the decorations for Halloween. We went out and picked some pumpkins to put on the front porch. She had a great time posing for pictures with them

Hayley found a Halloween dress on zulily and we each bought one, then met at the arboretum to take pictures in the matching dresses with our girls.

Big girl with a fork

Kyle is getting better at using her fork and utensils.


A lot of times she gets where she won't eat unless she's getting to feed herself.


Daycare has pretty much gotten her off her sippy cups and just using Dixie cups. I'm not that brave yet to turn her lose with that.....


Her favorite foods at the moment are Mac and cheese and grapes. (Those two she could live off of). We have found that she likes to dip her food into things, so to get her to eat chicken, we have to use the chik fila sauce from chik fila.

Kyle & her stride rites

Kyle has a ton of shoes but when she started to really walk at 13 months, we took her to the stride rite store and got her first pair! (She did have a melt down getting her size 3 foot measured) we made it out of there in one piece and Kyle has since put a lot of mileage on them.

Kyle's baptism

We finally got a weekend planned where most family could come to Kyle's baptism. Since mom flew in for her birthday party, we went ahead and set up that Sunday to have her baptized. It was a really sweet ceremony and Kyle behaved.

Kyle's First Trip to the Zoo & First time to Little Gym

August 19, 2012
Today we decided to get out of the house, since last night we got 2.8 inches of rain! It was 69 degrees outside when we got up, so after Kyle took her morning nap, we loaded up and headed to the Dallas Zoo. Our first stop was the petting zoo.

 After the zoo, we came home for afternoon nap, then after that, it was time for Nate's birthday party at LIttle Gym. This was Kyle's first time and once she warmed up, she absolutely loved it. I am definitely considering joining there - something fun to take her to do on our off days.
