Kyle's First Birthday

We had Kyle's birthday the Saturday before she turned 1. It was a great turnout - both Kimberly and Grace came, G.G. had flown in from Arizona, Nonni & Poppi made it over after work, and Johnette & Johnny drove in from Longview. Then of course Kyle's local favorites were there.

We had a great time with family and friends. Sunday, we baptized Kyle at our church, Lakewood UMC. so it was a very eventful weekend, our household was exhausted! it was special since next year we will be in Nashville!

more 4th of July pics

Here are some pictures at the Whisenant's pool after we ate 4th of July lunch. It was Kyle's first time in the pool - she really liked it. I had bought her this turtle float to play in too, which she really loved. Definitely want to have a pool at our final residence!

Billy and I were both off but neither one of us wanted to make big plans- we were both so tired from work and just wanted to relax and hang out with Kyle and the girls. We slept in and after morning nap headed over to the Whisenant's for lunch. Kyle got to play in the pool with her new float, tommy had Ellen, Hayley was working, unfortunately.

This summer has been fun so far not being too hot to be outside. So me and the girls and Kyle go in the backyard and play in the blow-up pool.

Dad & Donna made a trip to Texas to visit Ellen and Kyle (and us of course). we had a nice time catching up - we hadn't seen Donna since Tommy & Hayley's wedding!

G.G's & G.P.'s visit 5/12

After Kyle and I got home from visiting Billy in DC, Mom & Collin came in town to visit Ellen, Kyle's new cousin. Later in the week, the Peter's and Grammy drove up from Conroe to visit, so we had the whole crew in town.
